Dr. Aaron Lee is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship-level expertise in hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) surgery, complex gastrointestinal oncology, and minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He provides comprehensive surgical care ranging from bread-and-butter general surgery to highly complex pancreatic, liver, biliary, foregut, colorectal, breast, endocrine, and venous procedures. Dr. Lee earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and pursued his medical education at the University of North Texas- Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Furthermore, he completed his residency at NYU-Lutheran and his fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Dr. Lee has particular expertise in pancreatic surgery (including Whipple procedures and distal pancreatectomy), liver resections and ablation, complex biliary reconstruction, advanced foregut surgery, and colorectal cancer surgery. He routinely employs minimally invasive and robotic techniques to optimize patient outcomes, reduce recovery time, and enhance surgical precision.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lee is actively involved in surgical education and quality improvement. He serves as the assistant program director for the general surgery residency at Riverside Community Hospital. Dr. Aras Emdadi is a double board-certified colorectal and general surgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He works with the advanced robotics program in the Riverside region, utilizing the latest robotics platform, DaVinci 5, and techniques for transanal tumor removal in scarless surgeries. He specializes in the surgical management of complex colorectal diseases, including colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis, with a focus on techniques that promote rapid recovery and improved patient outcomes. Dr. Emdadi completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Immunology. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University–California, followed by a general surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport. He then completed subspecialty fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Southern Illinois University.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Emdadi is deeply committed to education and academic medicine. He serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Riverside, where he provides didactic teaching to medical students and residents across multiple specialties. He is also an active faculty member within the HCA General Surgery Residency Program, where he trains residents in outpatient, inpatient, and operative settings, and has been recognized with multiple teaching awards, including the Golden Scalpel Award for Attending of the Year.
Dr. Emdadi participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards in collaboration with the Sarah Cannon Research Institute and is actively involved in clinical outcomes research, particularly focusing on robotic colorectal surgery, obesity-related surgical risk, enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols, and inflammatory bowel disease. His research has been presented nationally at the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting, and he has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters spanning both surgical and translational research.

Dr. Brianna Williams is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive surgery and complex rectal cancer management. She is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence- based surgical care, emphasizing technical precision, thoughtful communication, and individualized treatment planning.
Dr. Williams received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery residency at Riverside Community Hospital, where she gained an extensive foundation in both elective and acute care surgery. She subsequently pursued fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Advanced Rectal Cancer Management at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. She trained under Dr. John Marks, a globally recognized leader in robotic and sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer, further advancing her expertise in complex colorectal and oncologic procedures. Her practice encompasses a wide spectrum of benign and malignant disease, including colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and anorectal disorders. She performs minimally invasive colectomy and proctectomy, low anterior resection, abdominoperineal resection, transanal excision of rectal lesions, ostomy creation and reversal. She works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered oncologic care.
In addition to her colorectal specialization, Dr. Williams provides comprehensive general surgical services, including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, inguinal and ventral hernia repair, small bowel resection, lysis of adhesions, management of bowel obstruction, and excision of soft tissue and abdominal wall masses. She offers both elective and urgent surgical care, utilizing minimally invasive techniques whenever appropriate to support optimal recovery and outcomes.

Dr. Benjamin Fegale is a board-certified vascular and general surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered surgical care. He completed his fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center, where he received advanced training in open and endovascular techniques for the treatment of complex arterial and venous diseases. Dr. Fegale completed his General Surgery residency at Riverside University Health System (RUHS), where he developed broad expertise in the surgical management of a wide range of conditions.
Dr. Fegale specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, including peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, venous disorders, and dialysis access management, in addition to providing comprehensive general surgical care. He has expertise in both minimally invasive and open surgical techniques and is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Fegale has a special interest in complex aortic pathology and advanced endovascular therapies. He specializes in complex aortic procedures, including physician-modified endografts (PMEG), fenestrated and branched endovascular aneurysm repair, and open aortic reconstruction, offering state-of-the-art treatment options for patients with challenging aortic aneurysms and other complex vascular conditions.
The majority of Dr. Fegale’s practice is based at Riverside Community Hospital, a high- volume regional vascular referral center that provides comprehensive care for patients with complex vascular disease. As part of a multidisciplinary team, he manages a broad spectrum of vascular emergencies and has extensive experience in vascular trauma management, delivering timely, advanced care for critically ill and injured patients throughout the region.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Fegale is passionate about providing accessible, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
